Ordo

Terms of Service

Ordo · Last updated: July 21, 2026

Short version: Ordo is provided as-is, for free. You own everything you create in it. The AI sorting is powered by Anthropic and isn't guaranteed to be perfect. Don't abuse the service. These terms are governed by the law of Québec, Canada.

1. Who we are

Ordo (the "App") is published by Samuel Laredo ("we", "us", "our"). You can reach us at support@heyordo.app. By downloading or using Ordo, you agree to these Terms of Service and to our Privacy Policy.

2. The service

Ordo is a personal brain-dump and organization app. You capture text (by typing or voice), and Ordo sorts it into Now, Next, or Someday and adds light categorization. Your items are stored locally on your device.

The App is provided free of charge for V1. We may add paid features in the future; if we do, the terms of any purchase will be presented to you at that time through Apple's In-App Purchase system.

3. Your content

You retain full ownership of everything you create in Ordo. We claim no rights to your content. Because your data is stored on your device, you are responsible for backing it up — use Settings → Data & Backup → Export to keep your own copy.

4. AI sorting

When you save a dump while online, its text is sent through our Cloudflare service to Anthropic, PBC to be sorted, then returned to your device (see our Privacy Policy for details). The AI's output, including how it categorizes, splits, rewrites, or schedules an item, is generated automatically and is not guaranteed to be accurate or complete. Always review important items yourself. We are not responsible for decisions you make based on AI output, and Anthropic's processing is governed by Anthropic's own terms.

5. Acceptable use

You agree not to:

6. Disclaimers

The App is provided "as is" and "as available", without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied, including fitness for a particular purpose, reliability, or availability. We do not warrant that the App will be uninterrupted, error-free, or that AI output will be accurate.

7. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, we will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages, or for any loss of data, arising from your use of (or inability to use) Ordo. Because Ordo stores your data locally, deleting the App or losing your device will delete your data — keep your own backups.

8. Termination

You may stop using Ordo at any time by deleting it. We may suspend or limit access to the AI-sorting service from a device or request source that abuses it or violates these terms.

9. Changes to these terms

We may update these terms from time to time. We will post the revised version here and change the date at the top. Where required, we will provide additional notice through an available contact method. Your continued use after a change means you accept the updated terms.

10. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the Province of Québec and the federal laws of Canada applicable therein, without regard to conflict-of-law principles. Any dispute will be subject to the courts located in Québec, Canada.
